Antwa’nae is nearing the end of her Master’s degree in mental health counseling. As an intern she is required to obtain 300 hours of practice in her skills to graduate. Antwanae attends Lewis University in Romeoville, IL. Her interest in counseling has been a concentration since undergraduate studies, but her interest turned into a true passion after serving as a volunteer for AmeriCorps. When she was able to serve children struggling with academics, social skills, homelessness and self-identity in a diverse setting that she knew what her career path was.
