*Be advised all mental, emotional and behavioral services are currently offered via online counseling and virtual therapy. Unfortunately, we are not offering in-person office hours until further notice. All of our mental and behavioral health services are available through our HIPAA compliant online counseling portal where we conduct virtual sessions through a safe and secure outlet. At this time, drug evaluations are postponed due to our inability to complete the in-person tests needed for proper results. We are still offering after-care services and non-court mandated drug counseling via online/virtual therapy.*
Inner Courage Counseling therapists offer drug assessments, help effectively manage your substance use and support you through your recovery from addiction. We help assess, manage and support you through this stressful time.
Who do we counsel and support for addiction issues? Inner Courage Counseling services the teen and adult populations, including all sexes, races and religions. We offer therapy for anyone questioning, considering, struggling or exhausted by their substance use, abuse or dependence. If you are ready for change, you are who we counsel.
Inner Courage counselors include parents, family members, guardians, friends and others important to the client themselves in treating the addiction. An important step in treating substance use is to create a support NETwork for the addicted teen/adult to fall back on during this vulnerable time in their life. That safety net starts with your addiction counselor.
What do we offer?
Our therapists are trained in dual diagnosis so we are able to address the drug factors as well as mental health factors during your counseling. Through our experience we have never encountered someone looking for addictions counseling that did not struggle with their emotional or mental health in addition to their substance use.
-Prescription Drugs (Adderall, Klonopin, Adderall, etc).
-Drug paraphernalia/drug sales issues
-And many more….
-Individual, Family counseling
-Mental health diagnosis
-Outpatient level of care
-Psychoeducation on drugs and interactions on the body/brain
-Toxicology (Urine Testing; Results are immediate)
How do we therapeutically help you through this time?
Our counselors do not use a standard textbook, movie or program for drug treatment. Our treatment is your treatment. We work with you to figure out your strengths, weaknesses, wants and needs from our counselors. This isn’t Walmart, One size does not fit all.
Teen years are a time of self-discovery and exploration. Sometimes the impact of those choices go farther than expectations and change our journey through adulthood. Our therapists encourage the client, no matter the age they seek therapy, to look at their life span to understand the impact of life events on their use, abuse and dependence of drugs. The question we seek to answer is: What came first the Chicken or the Egg?
Skills that have been found to help in addiction therapy:
-CBT: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
-DBT: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
-ACT: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
-Client Centered Therapy
But most importantly Honesty, Reliability, Consistency, Trust and Commitment are how we treat you to the best of our ability.
