“For me, I am driven by two main philosophies: know more today about the world than I knew yesterday and lessen the suffering of others. You’d be surprised how far that gets you.” – Neil deGrasse Tyson
I characterize myself as inquisitive, compassionate, and authentic. Outside of counseling, I am passionate about making time to travel the world to experience new places, cultures, and food! A few of my other interests include crochet, cooking, bird watching, true crime, and smothering my dog with attention.
I offer a flexible and limited-structure approach to therapy sessions while still utilizing evidence-based concepts and interventions from a variety of therapy models to help clients learn about their mental health, develop strategies and skills that work for them to manage symptoms, and gain clarity and insight into their emotional, cognitive, and behavioral experiences.
