“Use what talents you possess; the woods would be very quiet if only those birds sing there that sang best.” – Henry Van-Dyke
I characterize myself as empathetic, conscientious, and creative. Outside of counseling, I enjoy tending to my indoor garden in my apartment or wandering into local plant shops. I also enjoy going for long hikes with my husband and our dog, Maui.
Navigating life can be difficult, lonely, and scary at times- you are not alone! The decision to begin therapy can be a daunting one, so my top priority is to create a safe space where you feel validated and respected as you embark on your own healing journey. I have found a passion for working with young adults and adults struggling with body image, general anxiety, and depression. By working through my own trauma, I have gained a deep empathic understanding and a motivation to help others heal. Trauma can manifest in many forms and create challenges in everyday living, but through self-acceptance we can learn to find peace and grow from our experiences.
