    How I Help My Clients:

I characterize myself as enthusiastic, compassionate, and curious.  Outside of counseling I love finding new podcasts to listen to and am a big fan of board/card games that I can play with family and friends, especially social deduction games! I also enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes when I can.

I work with my clients to put the puzzle pieces of their life together so they can find clarity and relief. I utilize psychoeducation with my clients so that they can better understand their symptoms and explore how they have been able to manage or cope with their stressors thus far. Together, we work to identify the strengths and skills they already possess that have been effective so they can be incorporated into their treatment. I strive to help my clients break the stigma or any judgment revolving around their emotions and symptoms so that they feel validated, supported, and empowered. By incorporating cognitive restructuring, mindfulness, self-compassion, and curiosity about their inner emotions I aim to help the client accept their emotions, identify their values, and develop their coping skills so they can be fully engaged in their life.
