    How I Help my Clients:

I characterize myself as warm, understanding, and non-judgmental.  Outside of counseling I can always be found alongside my best friend and companion, my puppy Ube (OO-beh). We love running through trails in forest preserves and adventuring to Starbucks for pup cups.

As a current Masters Level Counseling Intern with a background in Psychology, I’ve spent all of my years in higher education cultivating my skills, as well as studying various subjects and approaches, within the realm of counseling and social psychology. With clients, I utilize affirming and encouraging approaches to assist clients in collaboratively building coping skills, strengthening mental health awareness, and nurturing healing. In sessions, my three personal pillars are empathy, encouragement, and positive affirmation. It is my hope, that in valuing and promoting these pillars, each client feels seen and listened to, in all their uniqueness and individuality. As the variance of human experience is so vast, I cherish and value each of my clients in their beautifully unique differences and origins. Thus, my services are culturally sensitive and LGBTQIA+ affirming.
