    How I Help My Clients:

I characterize myself as kind, committed, and compassionate.  Outside of counseling I enjoy container gardening, gardening but within containers due to small space. I also enjoy educating as a counselor educator and philanthropy to increase educational access and other forms of equity.

Are you navigating identity (such as race) concerns or your relationships with others and may be wondering what a healthy friendship or relationship looks like for you? Maybe you just feel “off” and can’t pinpoint if it is anxiety, stress, fear or something on the other end of the spectrum. Though you may be navigating these concerns, you are willing to take a closer look at how it is impacting your life and you want to learn how to do more than cope, you want to thrive. You want to be able to understand what you are experiencing and how you may advocate for yourself within the counseling space and outside of it.  I believe that each person has their own unique experiences and therefore, I seek to explore your voice and your understanding of your concerns. I draw from a three-part foundation of a person-centered, multicultural and feminist framework, this grounds how I support and work with you. I aim to see you as a whole person and not a problem that needs fixing.
